For the main write-up check the original 16bit release page. However, this is not an upgraded version of that release. It is a different presentation. My intention was for the work to be continuous. These are individual tracks which are here to give you choice.

After an unusually intense period of thought involving several braincells, I arrived at the conclusion that perhaps the most practical way of presenting the 4 suites : Harmonics in The Silence, Shadow at The Gate, Orgonon and Pareidolia in 24bit audio, was to sacrifice my beloved crossfades and allow them to be individual pieces.

All 60 pieces have been remastered using a new, common EQ reference to make the set as audibly compatible as possible.

You're able to stream all the pieces as well as buy them individually. So you don't have to buy everything and can create your own non-stop mixes if you like. It's jolly good self-indulgent fun!

The 24bit master files uploaded here are WAVs. I strongly advise that you do not download these files in a lossy format since that's defeating the issue.

Now, because a lot of open and modulating frequencies have been used throughout these pieces, whether sourced digitally or as analogue, please ensure the loudspeakers you use aren't liable to blow a fart-hole in their woofers and irritate cats down the road. You will hear a difference and unless you have a Hi-Fi setup like Spinal Tap's, don't give it full whack. If you do choose to throw caution to the wind and your pet hamster levitates while all your glassware shatters, you're possibly already on your third ASBO or you don't have neighbours. Congratulations on bending the laws of physics though!

P.S. Important audiophile stuff ok - these files are intended to be shiny and glitch-free. If you find anything I should sort out please contact me and let me know which piece and when it happens. I shall ably attempt to sort the fecker and sneakily replace it with a shiner one.

honestly this album takes quite a bit of time and many listening rounds to actually "get into". No doubt it is technically excellent, with more advanced composition elements than earlier records, however it isn't that easily accessible either. Perhaps this is actually a strength as each time you will listen to there will be more details to discover. Martin R

Nice departure from what I would consider to be the signature State Azure sound as it stands today but still very listenable. The Orb cover was particularly nice, as well. 69dragynz
