Paul Asbury Seaman With this series, Pickford has given us a triple treat: a collection of well-curated chill tracks that also serves as a sort of Best-Of overview of his more mellow works and an enticing sampling of longform compositions. Amazingly, it all flows together like a concept album (a fourth layer?!). Both an aural feast and a gentle balm. Highest rating. Favorite track: Temple of The Wonklord (RadioSience).

about

This is instalment no.2 of 3 of my chilled retrospective remix collection. In all 3 cases the individual files were uploaded @ 24/44.1 and the whole mix is a 16bit lossless FLAC. A .txt label file is included too.
Now, unless you’re unfamiliar with my stuff, you’ll notice all the tracks are different to their original release versions. That’s because I’m just good to you :-)
I don’t envisage this set of 3 albums, once all released here, to actually remain here. From my perspective the Bandcamp market has tanked at least 50-60% since late last year (2021). That makes it a no-go as far as my main focus is concerned. So while you’re listening to this I’ve either got due for release, or am prepping for release, as much of my catalogue as I can for general distribution i.e. available via all the boring outlets, with no guarantee of file quality and no extras like whole album listening files.
As soon as material gets released ‘out there’ it’s liable to get dumped off Bandcamp. For good I mean - it’s not coming back on a rotation release basis. If it does come back it’ll be on another private release platform. I’ll still release new stuff here and in it’s highest quality, most complete versions of course. But it’s only going to stay available here until it goes to general release. It’s mostly going to be strictly time limited from now on. So if you want it and you haven’t got it, you probably better get it because it’s going to disappear between now and summertime… unless it’s too unconventional for general release, in which case it’ll stay on here of course. I reckon David Law @ SMD will still get whatever he wants to release onto CD, so that won't be affected.
At some time in the not very distant future I’ll hoist up a new webpage and have all the best links on it. So it’s Ahoy Mateys… back to good old 2013 we go, screw the establishment and all the money-grabbing bar stewards and all that!
