Before you buy this you need to make sure you can experience it. It is extremely interesting, extraordinary in fact. I will say that much.
To cut out the technical jargon, from my own personal experience this will sound at it's best on headphones or on a home theatre system running Dolby Pro Logic II etc. It will also sound quite immersive on good stereo speakers. If you've only got your granny's old earpiece you're shit out of luck I'm afraid.
If you've already got Atmos on your system I haven't got a clue what will happen. If the goldfish starts flying around the room and the cat is walking on the ceiling, I suggest you turn it off for a bit.
